Experienced vigneron Phil Sexton relocated to the gravelly slopes of Victoria’s Yarra Valley in the late 1990’s to pursue cool climate viticulture. Beyond the Valley’s pristine Chardonnay and Pinot Noir fruit, he discovered a number of vineyards in Victoria’s far flung corners that inspired the creation of the Innocent Bystander range. Uniquely regional, varietally expressive and not your run of the mill blends, these wines have a distinct personality all their own.
